Century House is developed from an original log cabin, finished in the inside to today's standards, while retaining its pioneer charm. It is a 2 bedroom unit with 2 singles in one bedroom and a double in the other. This unit does not have a fireplace, but it is unique compared to its neighbouring units in that it has a large picture window instead of the patio door window view. It is well shaded by large trees, and the stairs down to the dock are conveniently nearby.
COMMON TO ALL COTTAGES: As in all cottages the livingroom- dining area has pull-out hide-a-bed sofa; there is a 4 piece bathroom; linen and towels supplied, ceiling fans in the bedrooms; there is color TV, DVD/VCR, in house cable system, radio, direct dial phone with modem connection, spacious patio deck, gas BBQ, patio furniture, picnic table; and, last but not least, we have the ever-popular individual camp fire pit (with complimentary firewoood with weekly booking) in spacious surroundings for evening social activity (not to mention the burnt marshmallows and weenies) around a fire. |
All kitchens are all fully equipped in the same way from cottage to cottage including 2 door frost-free fridge, electric range, microwave, drip coffee-maker, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, everything from salad bowls to wine glasses.
Living-dining, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom areas of the different Highland View units vary mainly in configuration. See the floor diagram on this page for an idea of the layout and appearance of this unit. By clicking any photo you can see a twice-size version of the photo.
