VARIETY OF SITUATIONS AND LAYOUTS:
Highland View Resort cottages come in a great variety of situations and layouts, so there is certainly to be one that suits your requirements. Some are beside the shoreline, others are nestled on the hill among the trees and still others are situated to give the utmost privacy. All the interiors are finished and furnished in the modern way with all the conveniences.

The following are features that are in common for all units:

Select from 20 fully equipped cottages along 3500 feet of natural shoreline. Highland View Resort is special in that the cottages are spread out on a spacious 35 acres. There is a minimum of 40 ft between units. This provides a great deal of personal outdoor space around the cottages.

KITCHEN AREA ALL cottages have fully equipped modern kitchens including: 2 door frost free fridge, 4 burner electric stove, vacuum cleaner, microwave, dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, automatic coffee maker, toaster,...everything is supplied. Taps provide purified and government tested drinking water.

LIVINGROOM AREAS Units vary in size and situation, but all livingroom areas are fully furnished including pullout hide-a-bed sofas in the event there are additional persons. All units have color TV, and complimentary DVD/VCR in every cottage, in-house cable system , AM/FM radio. Cottages have electric heat, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers.

BEDROOMS Bedrooms in all units are attractively finished and furnished with posturepedic beds, black-out curtains, most have ceiling fans (bed linens and towels supplied, towels changed midweek). Last but not least, all units have 4-piece bathrooms.

SCENIC DECKS: All units have large spacious decks accessible from living-dining areas via patio doors. Included in all units are patio furniture, double burner gas BBQ, picnic tables, confortable high back Adirondack chairs. All have a nice view of Rice Lake.

SPACIOUS SURROUNDINGS: The cottages are well spaced for privacy with maintained lawns and shady trees. The most popular aspect of Highland Vuew cottages are the fire pits, with complementary firewood. Art, the manager, says "On many summer evenings the hillside is a line of campfires, like a wagon train had stopped there for the night." At night the grounds are tastefully lit with pools of soft light that accent the surroundings.

EASY DRIVE-IN ACCESS FROM BACK: Roads lead right to the back door for convenience in coming and going"

BOAT AND MOTOR PACKAGE
All boat and motor packages come complete with 4 adult life jackets, oars, anchor. (Gas is extra) Operating instructions are also provided. Childreen and infant life jackets are not provided. Please don't forget to bring your owne. Rental supply is limited.
